Over this first series of lectures we will cover the basics of digital dentistry, understanding the importance of the analog world to achieve success in our daily practice. This initial lecture will cover:
- Differentiation. Learning and incorporating new services that will differentiate your business through technology.
- Better clinician. Becoming a more complete diagnostician interdisciplinary treatment planner and facially driven smile designer. Incorporating and benefiting from digital dentistry with smart investment and reducing the learning curve.
- Digital dentistry solutions. Offer unique restorative solutions to your patient through efficient Digital Restorative Workflow. Taking advantages of the unique CAD/CAM concepts of Natural Restoration & Smile Donator. We will cover the different options of Intraoral (I.O.) Scanners in dentistry.
- Understand the actual status of 3D Printing technology, the integration of different specialities and options for daily practice, from desktop solutions to more advanced possibilities.
- Marketing strategies. Creating awareness, first mover advantage solid new patient intake and increase case acceptance with inbound marketing and storytelling technique.
Over this second lecture, we will go on detail over clinical cases how to understand the digital workflow and all the analog concepts applied for the success of our treatments, based on al the principles we have explained in lecture 1, we will cover cases:
- Analog and Digital Ceramics: understanding the clinical situations to make the best election of material. From milling to pressed ceramic cases in interdisciplinary cases.
- Tooth preparations cases, Veneers vs Crows/Digital vs Analog. How to make the best preparation in order to achieve a predictable result, either cases with analog or digital dentistry. From minimal cases to full mouth restorations.
- Guided Surgery And Implantology: How to match the different files to get the correct information. Understand the different tipes and predictability of this techniques.
- 3D Perio Guides: Based on Facially Driven Treatment plan, we will show cases with DSD concept and Perio Guides for a predictable and esthetic crown lengthening.
- The aim of this presentation will about the integration of Invisalign and the restorative digital and analog workflow. Dentistry is changing in the past years for a more controlled and minimal invasive procedures, the combination between Invisalign and restorative will allow to complete less invasive dentistry with amazing esthetic and functional results.
- We will cover all the workflow where dentist will understand who treatment planning and integration of the Invisalign procedures in their practice will allow them to have more control of the cases and more acceptance of the restorative part since it will be less invasive to the patient.
- We will also cover the new integration of DSD and Invisalign , and how this new feature will also guide de Ortho movements based on an initial mock up, a revolutionary workflow for a Facially Driven Restorative guided Ortho.
